The breakfast spread was a real culinary adventure! From delicious local dishes to welcoming service from Fatima, I never went hungry. The shuttle was super quick, whisking us to the Haram in a flash. Also, the spacious room made for a comfy stay.
The only hiccup was the bus rides. sometimes overcrowded and a bit chaotic. Coming back after Isha, we got caught in traffic, which turned a quick ride into a lengthy trek.

The room was immaculately clean and well-maintained, showcasing a modern aesthetic. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making the stay more enjoyable. The breakfast included a delightful variety, featuring organic Quebec cheeses that were a standout. However, the location was a bit of a distance from the Haram, necessitating shuttle transportation, which was often crowded before and after prayer times. Additionally, the elevator wait times could be longer during peak hours, impacting convenience.

Comfortable Stay with a Great Shuttle Service!
Had a nice stay with my family. The room was pretty cozy and the shuttle to Al-Haram was super handy, just wish it didn't drop us off so far. Housekeeping wasn't the greatest, they missed cleaning the counters and making beds. The restaurant was nice too, we enjoyed some meals there.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Enjoyed the comfortable beds in our deluxe room with four single beds. The walk to Haram was straightforward, and food options nearby were plentiful. However, the shuttle back could become crowded, so plan ahead after prayer times. Would recommend this for younger families.

Having spent 9 nights at Voco in Mecca, I found the hotel to be relatively modern with a clean, inviting atmosphere. The room was spacious, with excellent bathroom facilities, and the air conditioning kept everything comfortable. The standout was definitely the staff. everyone from check-in to breakfast service was warm and welcoming, with Younis at breakfast being particularly kind. Although the rooms and facilities impressed me, the breakfast left much to be desired. Limited variety, primarily cakes and sweets, wasn’t really what I expected. The absence of basic items like bread and eggs was disappointing. I also faced issues with the shuttle service. while there were many buses available, the boarding process was chaotic. Guests pushed and shoved, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. I also wished the hotel offered a more organized system for shuttles. While it took about 15-30 minutes to reach the Haram depending on traffic, walking was sometimes a better option. If you’re looking for a luxurious 5-star experience, Voco might not fully meet those expectations due to its distance from the Haram. However, the cleanliness and staff made the stay enjoyable overall.
